TPWD's primary border security funding
set out in budget bill riders has not changed for 2010-2013...$1,887,596
for all four years as shown. This funds 30 game warden positions and
associated equipment, operating funding, etc.

However, in addition to this for FY12-13, SB2 in the special session
allocated TPWD Law Enforcement two SAFE boats, one for the Rio Grande
and one for Falcon Lake, plus weapons/ammunition and operating funding
directly related to those two boats...boats, gear and operating all
totaling $909,759.
